About Toast Ale & Shannon Flannigan:
From their Hudson Valley brewery, Toast Ale is leading a craft beer revolution against food waste. Using a recipe revived from ancient brewing practices, Toast takes yesterday's unsold loaves from local bakeries and turns it into award-winning craft beers. As a certified B Corporation, Toast also pours all profits into food sustainability charities around the world.
With a background in marketing specialty beer brands and value of sustainability, Shannon has brought together her two passions with Toast Ale - a beer brewed in the Hudson Valley using leftover bread from local bakeries. As US Chief Toaster, she is focused on telling the story of why the solution to food waste can be pint sized and delicious.
